History or Biography

Xena the mighty warrior princess, brave and fearless ,a warrior like no other, defender of the innocent and good of heart.Thats the warrior of today but Xena has a past,a past which always seems to resurface and try to pull her back to her once blood thirsty ways.

When Xena was young her village was attacked by a warlord ( I will have to find his name) and when he left Xena and her younger brother Leices (you'll now who I mean) tried to rally the towns people so that when they were attacked again they could defend their homes and families.It worked the village was under attack again but this time they fought back! Sadly during the battle Leices was killed as xena watched in horror, when it was all over Xena's mother and older brother blamed Xena for Leices death, Xena fuming with rage and guilt gathered some local men to journey with her,

Unfortunately Xena became obsessed with control and power she and her now larger army was sweeping the country destroying any thing that got in there way and Xena became famous for the death and carnage that she had caused.

During this time Xena meet Julius Caesar, then a young officer who told Xena that together they could rule the world, Thinking that he meant what he said Xena let him go expecting to see him in the not so distant future, Caesar did return but he had his own secret agender.Instead of making Xena an allie he turned around and stabbed her in the back LITERALLY! Caesar had Xena tied to a cross and her legs broken.Luckily for Xena a stowaway on her ship rescued her and took her to a healer ,Caesars men found them and killed M'lila ( the stowaway) Xena then Promised the world

But with death there is always life and Xena had a baby boy to Bories her second in command, the child was later named Solan by the Centaur leader Keliopus with whom Xena had been fighting, Xena gave him up because she refused to see him grow up as she had and if he stayed with her he would become a target for all those who hated her.

You may think that some one this black hearted could never see the error of there ways but you would be wrong, After trying to kill the legendary Hercules by manipulating his best pal Iolus,Hercules finally made Xena truly see what her actions had done, to others and to her self and its here that the series really begins, with the warrior princess traveling home to see her mother but getting side tracked when a village is under threat by an old warlord friend/ enemy of Xena after dealing with him and collecting her soon to be best buddy Gabrielle Xena sets off on her adventures with a young Gabrielle in tow.

Gabby, the young and lovable bard from Poteidia ( I know its wrong but just bear with me).I ask you this has any one ever heard gabby actually read her scrolls to any one or does she keep them under lock and key at all times?

Anyway this young,talented,smart and cute girl from a little town some how ends up best friends with one of the most feared warlords in the country.In the words of the Warrior Princess her self," she has a constant sweetness and light ness of spirit that makes traveling with her a pleasure" this was of course said after gabby stopped blabbing on and on and on! What I like most is how gabby describes the warrior princess while she is tying to follow her EG:

Our favourite side kick meets the dark mean one while trying to stop Draco a nasty but cute warlord that Xena has a past with, Any way they stop him and every one is happy well almost every one. Gabby wants to follow Xena and have some adventures but her father being the nasty and rather grumpy guy that he is, tries to stop Gabby from going.

This man has some issues I think he needs some conciling, he really hates Xena, he blames her for stealing his little girl and filling her head with strange ideas,DUH she is human ,gabby can have ideas of her own!!

So after all that Gabby leaves with our warrior princess and bye some coincidence they run into some Amazons,thats right those mighty fighters of legend. While saving an injured Amazon Gabby finds out that a thing called right of cast can be transfered.And so Gabreille becomes an Amazon Princess. Pretty cool huh,well that's what gabby thought until she found out that as an Amazon princess she must kill the Centaur charged with the crime. Can you see what's happening here, If the death goes ahead it could cause a major war between the already feuding countries.Xena to the rescue!! Xena saves the day and all is right again in the world, so now you know how Gabby gets her staff or stick thing as many like to call it.

The two become best of friends on there travels and seem to bond really well and even though Xena has a dark side she has a really cool sense of humour, another thing to my already long list is the fact that Gabby seems to go through more clothes in six seasons then I do in one year!

But enough of that; Xena and Gabby have a really cool friend ship, probably helped along by the fact that both these characters are really groovy in there own way and both are looking for a friend ( Xena wont admit it but hay would you)

Just to help you out I have but two words SHE'S INSANE!!! Really, this chick is off the deep end.Have you heard of obsessive compulsive disorder!This chick is Crazy. Granted if someone burnt down my home town and killed my only family id be pretty peeved as well but to follow there killers every move, study them constantly and walk in there shadow just to get revenge is well, sad if you think about it.But Callisto is a cool character and is a constant evil in the show ,in the world of Xena no-one really seems to die and Callisto is no exception. Even though Callisto is supposed to be evil and cruel she still has a humorous side but like any show you have to watch the show every week and know the characters before you can laugh at her. Then I wouldn't laugh at her, not to her face she is blonde and has a sword.

Alright lets see why Callisto tried to kill Xena and all she stood for.... A young girl screams as her house is set alight, she turns and sees a symbol a, warlords symbol " Xena" she breathes the word like its a curse,then turns on her heel to hide. When the screaming seems to stop she comes out of her hiding place to see the whole village in ashes,

nothing stirred," Xena will pay,even if it takes a life time, she will pay" having said that Callisto grabbed a bag ,found some food and a water bag, then left with nothing but hate and revenge on her mind and death and destruction as her only comrades on the long path that now laid before her....

And thats exactly what she did, Callisto lived with..... ( Oh I had the name a minute ago..) a man, he made her armor and sword, even when she was young Callisto had a way with the sword and practiced with a wooden one when ever she had a spare minute,So the day Callisto left to get her revenge the man who had given her a home for so long new he may not see her again but he would hear about her in a few months to come and how right he was.

Ephiny, well what can I say about her apart from that she would have to be the best dame amazon that there is and it was sad to see her sudden death at the hands of the Roman Scum. I love this character and the fact that she and Gabby bond almost immediately. And being the loyal friend that she is, Ephiny is always happy to step down from her post as the regent queen as soon as Gabby enters the village, be it loyalty to her friend or queen and even the warrior princess seems impressed by her.

Another thing about her is that she isnt one that is quick to judge by that I mean that everyone thought that the warrior princess would bring loads of trouble but Ephiny worked with Xena to prove that the centaur was innocent.

Ephiny also proved that even though two people had been fighting for generations peace is still an option, She had a baby centaur which is named ' Xenan Gabries Phantus' imagine going to school with a name like that.But he's a cute kid with his mums curly hair and brilliant blue eyes.

When Ephiny was killed at the hands of the Roman Brutus, Xena promised to return the captured Amazons and that she wouldn't let the Amazons just die away, even in death Ephiny left a legacy, one which would inspire all Amazons and Xena, Ephiny was not only a friend,mother and teacher but also a born leader who with her courage showed the world that there was still hope and life for the whole Amazon nation would go on.

The legendary dropkick! Joxer! its the boys turn now and what a way to start, with a moron, actually i really like Joxer hes the comic relieve in all the episodes he has been in and even Xena and Gabby like him, after awhile. Joxer means so much to them that at one stage Xena teams up with two con men just to con a conning gaming house owner, is there enough cons in there? not yet the con works, and so the game house guy loses and Joxer lives but in the proses Xena and the con man Rafe kind of fall for one another and con each other that there isnt anything between them. I did say this was about Joxer right. OOOKKK joxer first comes into the fold when trying to prove to Callisto that hes the right kind of soldier for her army, Callisto gives him the task of capturing Gabbreille but that dosent work and Gabby beats him to a pulp. Callisto then takes things into her own hand and takes gabby but Xena kicks Callisto butt and huals her of to prison. Joxer then beomes a regular and adds that touch of laughter that all shows need. ( thats my opinoun any way)

We find out that Joxer has two brothers, two identicle brothers, one named Jett who got the brains but the nasty side as well and Jace who got the musicle flare and artistic talent and that left Joxer with the good heart and lovable personality.

All in all this character gives the show just what it needs, a bumbling fool, a cool bumbling fool, but a fool none the less. Joxer is hard to explain and there are a lot of things that make him likeable, and it doesnt matter if you love him or hate him Joxer is one character that you just have to laugh at.
